2024 Osteoporosis and Fall Prevention Symposium CNE (6 points)







During the seminar, Director Tang Ling of the Nursing Department of Beijing Oriental Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Zhang Zhenglong, President of the Hong Kong Osteoporosis Society, Dr. Yuan Meixin of Zhongzhuo Medical, Senior Nurse Tam Simin, a fragility fracture nurse of the hospital, and Dr. Huang Jinhong, a registered physiotherapist (Australia and Hong Kong), shared their professional knowledge and experience on osteoporosis with cross-professional medical staff from different industries from the perspectives of Chinese and Western medicine. They hope that through exchanges and sharing with cross-professional medical staff, the development of cross-professional medical care can be enhanced and the public can benefit.

Urology specialist Dr. Ma Wai Kit gave an in-depth presentation to specialists, operating room nurses, medical C-level management, operations managers and other professionals on how to apply 3D technology to partial nephrectomy surgery and planning for renal cell carcinoma (RCC). This innovative technology has attracted widespread attention, and former president of the Medical Association and nephrology specialist Dr. Ho Chung Ping also came to the site to provide guidance.

The first “Cancer Prevention Methods – Understanding Cancer Prevention Diet and Screening Methods Health Seminar”



We have invited registered medical practitioner Dr. Stanley Wong and Chinese medicine practitioner Dr.黃嘉銳to explain cancer screening methods and dietary precautions. Through this activity, everyone learned a lot of cancer prevention knowledge and diet therapy. In the future, they can pay attention to their physical health and reduce the risk of cancer.
The second “Focus on Women’s Health: Breast Cancer Prevention and Diet Therapy Lecture from East and West”



We invited registered Chinese medicine practitioner Dr. Lai Siu Wai and nutritionist Dr. Annie Lee from the Hong Kong Nutritionists Association. We benefited a lot from the enthusiastic sharing of the two speakers. At the same time, we would like to thank every participant, rehabilitated patient and their family members for their enthusiastic participation in making the lecture more exciting!
The third seminar on “Understanding Gynecological Cancer – Prevention and Treatment of Cervical, Endometrial and Ovarian Cancer”



We have invited Dr. Wan Yee Ki, obstetrician and gynecologist and registered Chinese medicine practitioner, Dr. He Sze Yee to raise awareness and vigilance of gynecological cancer for patients and their families. The more than 100 audience members, including patients and their families, responded very enthusiastically and took photos of the “tips” shared by the experts.
The fourth “Lecture on Nursing and Physical and Mental Support during and after Cancer Treatment”



We invited Dr. Lai Siu Wai, a registered Chinese medicine practitioner, and Mr. Lee Pak Ying, a registered social worker, to provide participants with comprehensive treatment and support information to enhance their understanding and coping skills during the cancer treatment process. The 128 audience members, patients and their families responded enthusiastically and hoped that the speaker could share more relevant knowledge.

We provide outreach health lecture coordination services for businesses and organizations to enhance employees, members, or citizens’ understanding and awareness of various health knowledge, promote a culture of health and physical and mental health development. Targets include government agencies, enterprises (personnel departments, employee welfare), insurance companies, primary and secondary schools, universities, and various organizations.



We arranged cardiologists, clinical oncologists, gynecologists, and registered chiropractors to explain health information for cross-border insurance companies, adding value for insurance practitioners.
